General Terms and Conditions for Accommodation in the Properties of RegioJet Hotels effective from 23 May 2015
I. Introductory Provisions
1.1 The company STUDENT AGENCY TRAVEL k.s., Company ID: 08120803, with its registered office at nám. Svobody 86/17, 602 00 Brno (hereinafter referred to as "SAT"), issues these General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "GTC") pursuant to Section 1751 et seq. of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, governing the rights and obligations related to the provision of accommodation services in facilities offered for closed groups.
1.2 By making a reservation, the guest confirms that they have read and agreed to these GTC.
1.3 These GTC form an integral part of any contract concluded between SAT and the client. Divergent arrangements in the contract take precedence over the GTC. The current version of the GTC is available at www.regiojethotels.com . SAT reserves the right to unilaterally amend the GTC even during the contractual relationship due to changes in legal regulations, decisions by public authorities, or technical developments of services. Clients will be informed of such changes on SAT’s website at least 1 month before they take effect. If the client disagrees with the change, they may withdraw from the contract within 1 month of publication, by sending a written notice by registered mail to SAT's address. In such case, SAT is entitled to compensation for costs or a cancellation fee under the contract. If the client does not exercise the right to withdraw, it is assumed they agree with the changes.
1.4 The legal relationship between SAT and the client is governed by Czech law, in particular Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code. In accordance with Article 3 of Regulation (EC) No. 593/2008 (Rome I), by entering into a contract with SAT, the client agrees that Czech law shall apply, even if services are provided abroad.
1.5 The authority for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, www.coi.cz. Disputes can also be resolved online via the European Commission's platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
1.6 Communication takes place in Czech unless otherwise agreed. The client agrees to email correspondence. Even undelivered or rejected messages are considered delivered. A message sent to the client's last known email address is deemed delivered at the moment of sending, unless SAT receives a delivery failure notification.
1.7 The client confirms having read the Privacy Policy, which is part of the GTC and available at: https://www.studentagency.cz/privacy-policy.html. Personal data is processed based on contractual obligations, legitimate interests, and legal duties, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
1.8 The client acknowledges that calls with SAT may be monitored and that SAT tracks traffic to its websites. The client acknowledges that common areas of the properties may be monitored by security cameras for safety reasons. Recordings are stored in accordance with legal regulations and used solely for the protection of property and individuals.
1.9 The client is obliged to familiarize themselves with and comply with the House Rules of the accommodation.
1.10 The client acknowledges that certain personal data must be processed to provide services, in accordance with GDPR and the stated policy.
II. Booking
2.1 Accommodation bookings and related services can be made by the client: a) via online reservation at www.regiojethotels.com, b) by phone or email.
2.2 Based on the booking, SAT will send the client an invoice and booking confirmation (voucher). The accommodation contract is concluded upon receipt of payment into SAT’s account.
2.3 The booking must include the client’s identification details, requested property and stay dates, number of persons, and any additional services. SAT may request further information before confirming.
2.4 The client is responsible for the accuracy of the booking data. Later submitted requests or discounts may not be accepted and may incur a fee.
2.5 A client's response with additions under § 1740 (3) of the Civil Code is not considered acceptance of the offer. SAT may reject incomplete or incorrect bookings, or bookings from clients who repeatedly breach booking rules.
III. Price
3.1 The client agrees to pay the price stated in the invoice and voucher.
3.2 The price is due at the time of reservation and is considered paid on the day the full amount is credited to SAT’s account.
IV. Additional Services
4.1 Clients may order additional services as part of their booking. SAT offers in particular: • Endless Fridge Service – non-perishable food and drinks available; consumption is recorded by the client and paid for at the end of the stay. • Self-service Bar – operated under a similar system.
4.2 The client is responsible for payment of all additional services no later than upon departure.
4.3 Local taxes are not included in the price and must be paid on-site.
4.4 Reservation changes must be made no later than 7 days before the stay.
4.5 Children under 2 stay free without entitlement to a bed. Older children are charged the full rate.
4.6 The client is responsible for their guests and any damages caused by their behavior. All persons must be reported.
4.7 Check-in is usually between 15:00–18:00. Arrival outside this window is not guaranteed.
4.8 Smoking outside designated areas is prohibited and may incur a fine of up to CZK 5,000.
4.9 Pets are not allowed.
4.10 The client must respect quiet hours from 22:00 to 07:00.
4.11 Rooms must be vacated at the time specified in the reservation (usually by 10:00). Failure to vacate may result in a charge equal to one additional night.
V. Complaints
5.1 Complaints must be addressed on-site immediately. If not possible, they may be submitted in writing within 7 days after the stay to info@regiojethotels.cz.
5.2 SAT will process the complaint within 30 days of receipt.
VI. Liability
SAT is not liable for: • damages caused by force majeure (e.g., power outages, natural disasters, closed roads), • items left outside locked areas, • damage caused by the client or their companions, • availability of third-party services (e.g., cable cars), • indirect damages (e.g., loss of profit), except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
VII. Termination of Contract
7.1 The client – consumer acknowledges that pursuant to § 1837(j) of the Civil Code, it is not possible to withdraw from an accommodation contract within 14 days without cancellation fees.
7.2 The client may withdraw from the contract at any time but agrees to pay cancellation fees. Withdrawal must be in writing and is effective upon receipt by SAT.
7.3 Cancellation fees: • More than 30 days before arrival – 0% of the price, • 30–14 days – 50% of the price, • 14–7 days – 70% of the price, • Less than 7 days – up to 100% of the price.
7.4 SAT will refund the amount paid for accommodation and services minus the applicable cancellation fee.
7.5 SAT may terminate the contract without notice in case of serious breaches by the client or in extraordinary circumstances (force majeure, property damage, etc.). In such a case, alternative accommodation or a full refund will be offered.
