Hotel Vidly can be found in the most beautiful part of the Jeseníky Mountains between the famous Karlova Studánka and Jeseník spas. You can look forward to pristine nature and the cleanest air in Central Europe. The shortest and quietest ascent to Švýcárna and Praděd is from the village of Vidly. You will hardly meet a soul on the way! Thanks to self-service and wellness, you will enjoy maximum comfort and relaxation.
Self-service
You serve yourself in the form of self-service. The bar has 0.5 l Pilsner Urquell beer on tap for a mere €2 and 0.5 l Holba beer for €1. It also includes a fizzy water dispenser and juicer, which the children will especially appreciate. There is a wine bar, soft drinks in cans and also snacks (crisps, nuts, etc.). You can also use the offer of our “endless fridges”, where you will find a selection of frozen and refrigerated meals at low prices (pizza, pork knuckles) that you can prepare for lunch. At the end of your stay, you only pay for what you have consumed.
Wellness
You can relax in the wellness centre with a Finnish and steam (aroma, approx. 70 °C) sauna. There is also a relaxation area with loungers. You can order massages directly at the hotel for favourable prices.
Fun not only for your children
The hotel has an equipped children’s corner full of games, especially suitable for children under 6 years old. In the basement, you can use the ping-pong table all year round, where there is also a separate sitting area. In summer, you can enjoy the outdoor trampoline and the meadow in front of the hotel for other sports activities. In winter, there is a smaller lift for children right next to the hotel, which is available depending on the snow and operating conditions.
Relax zone, lounge
Relax with a coffee in two lounge-type rooms. One of them has a large-screen TV (smart TV) on which you can watch YouTube, sports matches or just relax with your own music. Right next to it is a kitchen with a separate coffee machine. You have quality coffee for free all day long, as you are used to with RegioJet. If you have a sweet tooth, you can choose from four types of cakes on offer (1 piece for €0.5).
Common areas
All day long you have the opportunity to use the restaurant area (each room has its own table), three fully equipped kitchens, the terrace at the hotel and the surrounding meadow. In the summer, you can enjoy sunbeds and a grill on the illuminated outdoor terrace. There is a washing machine and dryer on the 1st floor. The hotel also has a “wine bar” with a ping-pong table, which you can use in the evenings.

Half board included
The accommodation price includes half board – a buffet breakfast with a rich selection of sweet and savoury dishes, including freshly baked pastries and breads. Upon request, we can prepare fresh eggs any way you like, and pancakes. Dinners are served from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. You choose in advance from two meals, which usually consist of a soup and a main course. You usually have the option to choose a main course in advance from 2 options, one of which is usually sweet or vegetarian. We also offer a vegetarian and gluten-free menu upon request. If you have food allergies or follow a specific diet, please let us know in advance.
Kitchens for you
There are 2 fully equipped kitchens at your disposal. In each kitchen you will find fridges and freezers for your own food, dishwasher, sink, induction hob, kettle, microwave oven, mugs, glasses, cups, cooking and baking utensils, plates, cutlery and also a selection of spices such as salt, pepper, basil, bay leaves, curry, paprika, thyme, marjoram, allspice and more, including flour and sugar. In other words, everything you may need if you want to cook.
You can bring your own food and even your own alcohol. Everything can be consumed in our restaurant and other public areas of the hotel.
Hiking in the Jeseníky Mountains
Hiking in the beautiful Jeseníky mountains, strolling through a picturesque spa town with breath-taking architecture, skiing, bathing in the thermal pool in Karlova Studánka or wellness centre in the nearby town of Bruntál. The area around Praděd is also great for bike tours. You can rent a scooter at Praděd and enjoy an adrenaline rush on the way down.
Skiing in the surroundings
We have a small ski slope with poma lifts right next to the hotel. In case of good snow conditions, the lift is in operation for hotel guests. Information will be provided by the hotel caretakers.
More advanced skiers can use the wide range of ski resorts in the vicinity.
Skialps and cross-country skis
The Jeseníky Mountains are a paradise for cross-country skiers, and the peaks can also be climbed on ski alps. You can enjoy sledging and snow fun with children just a few steps from the hotel door!

Children up to the age of 2 are free as long as they do no occupy a bed and no meals are provided to them (a cot can be requested for free).
The tourist tax is always added to the price of the stay, it is payable by all persons aged 18 and older, €1/adult/day.

Tasty breakfast, good-quality juices and eggs and pancakes per request. Only the part-baked buns could have been better; so darker rolls were the better option. :) The self-service system was great, as were the very low prices for beverages. The coffee and cake combo was amazing. The property is conveniently located for hikes to Praděd; via the marked hiking trail to Švýcárna and then to Praděd; and back via Ovčárna to Karlova Studánka and back to Vidly. You can take the bus for the final leg of the journey from Ovčárna.

Everything was perfect. Opulent breakfast, excellent pancakes or several styles of egg dishes prepared in front of you by Niky and Matúš. Amazing dinner (including soup); and the BBQ on Sunday was excellent. Rooms are clean and conveniently sized, including a mini fridge. You can make coffee or flavoured sparkling water anytime you want; or serve yourself a glass of beer for a very low price :) It felt like home throughout the stay :)

The accommodation was clean, modern and tastefully furnished, overall cosy. Coffee and cake as a welcome was a nice gesture. We will definitely be back.
